About Us
Look, it was a pandemic year.
We sat at home without social plans, swiping left on Zillow … and then it hit us. A lifestyle that is all about family, fun, recreation and enjoying the best around us! And with one email, we set ourselves on this adventure; to create destinations for fun.
We are an active family of 4, who love traveling, outdoor sports, friends/family/fun and enjoying all our region has to offer. And, we love our down-time, too. Those nights around the fire, or enjoying big dinners and playing family games. Or...frankly, leaving the kids back and going out with a couple of friends! What better way to enjoy life’s pleasures, than with friends or family in a cabin up north. It was our goal to create modern, cozy spaces - not your grandma’s old furniture, or the sterile grey interiors. We created experiences that we would want for ourselves, and a vision to share it with others. Welcome to our Lodge Life.
Meet the family
We have a pretty simple story; Cindy grew up camping in the mountains, Scott hunting in the Midwest and this seemed like the perfect next adventure. We’ve raised a family of two daughters and our mini Bernese Mountain Dog siblings, Parker and Sadie, and enjoy spending time with our large extended family and friends. Cindy works in design and has a long history in the hospitality industry, a perfect fit for running the hospitality and marketing side of this venture. Scott runs our family-owned liquor store, and you may occasionally see him as our “grounds crew” and maintenance man. And our girls, both studying business in college, are frequent players in our web, social and operating side of this gig.
